Parang walang nagbago sa yo, makata ka pa rin hahaha…Anyway, ganoon din ako, I have but vague memories of our high school days, pero everytime I reminisce those memories, there is always that unexplained excitement and happiness, probably because we had a lot of fun times during those days, right? After high school days, most of us went separate ways and I think most of us had tough times because we were getting ready to get into the real world, right? Lalo na nung nasa UP tayo, para bang we were in a strange world and we did not realize how tough it is to be and to stay in UP. We made it though and now, here we are, still surviving and looks like most of us made it through after 30 years!!! Cheers to all of us!!!! I am not really sure if I can be there for the homecoming but I will just be here to extend whatever help I can to make the homecoming a big success! Take care and regards to all!
Warm greetings to Batch’78! I’m so glad that we once again rekindle our old friendships, through the efforts and commitment of our Batch’78 Grand Reunion organizers to bring us together again after 30 years. 1978 was a momentous year for all of us….leaving a lot of fun memories of high school days and embarking to a challenge of following our future dreams. We all had a share of the ever changing life tides….we were ecstatic to experience success and yet cannot escape some bout of failures. We treasure new and old friendships …..relationships come and go until one day; some of us chose to take the responsibilities of parenthood. Then having a family took us to another dimension of life. Suddenly, we realized so much time had gone by….we look for the child in us that make us feel carefree and enjoy the vibrant of life…so we tried to reminisce the past….revisit familiar places…reconnect with friends. And now my Batch’78 friends…I’m so excited to hear from you once again. Judy and I had managed to keep in touch through the years and I was thrilled to receive an e-mail from Donna last night. I have been trying to track down batchmates whom I heard are currently based here in the US. So far, I have tracked down five of them through People Search websites and telephone directory assistance. They are not free though, People search websites charge at least $3 each person searched and telephone companies charge $1.50 for directory assistance. Don’t worry about it, guys, it’s on the house. It’s my way of helping you out to get more of batchmates join our Homecoming. I have left already messages to these batchmates whom I tracked down already and I will be waiting for their return call. Now, if you have information on our other batchmates who are currently based here in the US or Canada, please let me know and I will gladly track them down here like an FBI, hahaha. Just kidding. For the love of QCA Batch 1978, I will do it for you.

qca78 is the administrator of this site, that is anybody who knows the username and password and thus can log-in and makes changes with the site. if sombody who is logged-in makes a comment and he/she did not change the name in the name box, the name qca78 will be shown in the comment.

btw, we read from our group e-mails that some of our batchmates long to hear the music of the 70’s, particularly from 1974-1978, the years when we were in QCA. Fortunately, wordpress can embed videos from other sites such as YouTube so we’ll get the videos there. we already tried one and succesfully put it in our Announcements page.

Wow!!! it’s really been a long time and right now I don’t really know what to say. I cannot find a word to describe the overwhelming joy and excitement I am feeling right now. I can just popped up from nowhere. But due to life changes and everything I ended up living here where it’s so far away from everybody. But hey that is life and it will go on. You guys are lucky specially in a occasion like this.I’m gonna try my hardest to get there but I am almost positive that I won’t be able to make it due to a very tight work schedule and vacation hour availability. So like I said…Hopefully I will C Ya ALL Again.
